Embracing Every Day in His Presence

As we stand on the threshold of a new year, let's usher it in with hearts full of gratitude and a resolute commitment to make every day with Jesus sweeter than the day before. In the hustle and bustle of life, it's easy to get caught up in resolutions, but this year, let's make a resolution that truly transforms – the resolution to seek Christ daily.

Scripture tells us in Psalm 34:8 (NIV): "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him."

Indeed, every day with Jesus is an opportunity to taste the sweetness of His presence, to find refuge in His love, and to experience a joy that surpasses all understanding. Just as the wise men sought the Christ child, let us, too, be seekers of Jesus in the upcoming year.

Matthew 2:2 (NIV) reminds us: "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him."

In seeking Jesus, we not only find joy but also share it. Let's resolve to bring others into fellowship, just as believers did in the Old Testament days, sharing the richness of our personal relationship with Christ.

Proverbs 3:6 (NIV) guides us: "In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Putting God first in everything is the key to true prosperity. This new year, let's align our priorities with God's plan and purpose, experiencing prosperity that goes beyond material wealth – a richness that comes through the depths of our personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
